Do you offer a guaranteed pass option?
Unfortunately no company can ‘genuinely’ offer this service, as it is independently appointed DSA Examiners who carry out all tests. Your result is dependent on how well you drive on the day!
What’s the pass rate?
Nationally the pass rate is just under 50%, however, Red and Yellow Training prides its self on achieving a higher pass rate than this and if the candidate drives to the same high standards as they are taught by our experienced instructors there is no reason why they should not pass on their 1st attempt.
What happens if I fail my test?
We will contact the DSA and book a re-test for you. You will find our re-test fees are just as competitive as our initial course fees. We only charge for the hours you need to retake your test plus the DSA Test Fee.
When I pass can I get a job straight away?
Red and Yellow Training have teamed up with a number of local and national companies whom we have excellent relationships with and refer candidates to. Red and Yellow will also, if required, help organise interviews for you and with over 60,000 vacancies nationally you should have no problem finding a job.
Do I need a medical to drive a HGV/LGV?
Yes, you will need to pass an LGV medical and complete form D4 to obtain your provisional entitlement, your own Doctor can do this for you, however, they normally charge between £80 and £120. Red and Yellow Training have teamed up with a number of local practitioners who are able to provide this service for as little as £35.
